The 'Breathless party', a social charity event, was held at the Costanza baths: 400 guests were invited by Silvia Asso Bufalini, a Florentine gallery owner and bookseller, who involved friends and well-known personalities to raise funds for the 'Un gancio al Parkinson' association (represented by Dr. Maurizio Bertoni) aimed at the development of a cutting-edge therapy from the USA."
More than €12,000 was raised, which will be used to fund two international studies:
- the first using instrumentation to activate patients' visiomotor and memory skills
- the second with the use of special software for the use of virtual reality instruments specifically for Parkinson's disease.
Both studies will be the first ever in the study of Parkinson's disease
